Something about the design of that truck just makes me want to put down insurgencies.

Star my uncle has a similar scroll tattoo. I really think we are cousins or somesuch.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

President Obama had current service members over for a BBQ:

Hopefully this won't drive the discussion into negative politics.  I think that if any president in recent memory had done the same thing it would be met with approval: Like Bush II, Clinton, Bush I, Reagan or Carter.

^People sometimes give him crap for not doing a historically correct restoration but he always tells them he never set out to do that.  Instead he set out to rebuild a truck the way he wanted to, it just so happened to be a military truck.  So he painted it that color blue, put bigger tires on it and put a turbo charged diesel under the hood.  :)

I think I made a model of that truck back when I was modelling it is that a Beep WC57 (not sure on the number after WC)?

I believe that model is the WC51 or WC52, same family but wrong truck.  Your model was used in WWII.

My dad's truck is is 1962 Dodge M37B1 weapons carrier.  It was introduced and use during the Koren War as well as the Vietnam War.

You're right I looked it up it was a WC 51 and Dodge was the main manufacturer, maybe why it looks close.. The company that made the kit Skybow, I think went under, but I think AFV bought all their 'molds'.. not sure if they reissued that one.. it was a very nice kit, fun to build!.. Think it was the second to last model I completed, back in 2005... lol.. darn PC Gaming got me out of the hobby!

I was a nicely done model on your part to bad you aren't still doing that.

Also I believe both your model is the precursor to my dad's truck.  To this day nobody that I can find has made a model kit of the M37.  If someone could prove me wrong I would owe them a bottle of their choice.

Thanks for sharing CT

That is a cool looking truck. The only thing I would change is to put a slope on the windshield. Any rock is going through that.

Didn't know this thanks!  I would love to see them put those to good use.  I wonder if they would even consider it and  how much it would cost to get them to mold one....
