mmm...what day is it today?? Anyone Gaming this Friday?

Well I'll get very little gaming in. I have a couple of charity bike rides coming up and some training to do and I'm booked out for a BBQ...but if I do (and I will get some done)

DCS Black Shark - loved the fact I'm getting the beginnings of being competent and chuffed I've got a startup guide - I hate to cheat start up
SoaSE - went through the tutorials and started a small game last night - but strangely had NO clue what to do...managed to have a largish fleet and a lot of defences (because I was quickly being attacked by LOADS of pirate ships - several times) - but have still yet to create a colonising ship - though I thought one of mine was able to!
Far Cry 3 - I need to finish it.

Also some painting of my Trumpeter 1/35 scale Challenger II - I don't know why I have a hangup with getting on with this - it's a beautiful model, a fantastic looking tank and yet I am taking huge amounts of time to get it painted!

Well I work all dang weekend, so I doubt I'll get much gaming done.

That being said I seem to be suffering from "4x ADD" at the moment: I keep jumping back & forth between my three favorites: Birth of the Federation (BOP mod), Armada 2526 Supernova, and Distant Worlds: Shadows. However, I also keep thinking I need to get back into the StarDrive campaign I started earlier this week, as well as play around with the Horizon alpha.

And then there's Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes, which has been calling my name the last day or two...

Gah!

My 14yr old son came home from summer vacation last night and so yes, we have lots of gaming to get in. We'll play some Blood Bowl I'm sure, along with experimenting with Force on Force (miniatures) and we have also yet to explore Commands and Colors: Ancients yet. I've also been itching to play some ASL.

Not sure what the weekend holds but I want to try and get some more Civ V in. Also it would be nice to finish the Far Cry 3 campaign. I keep getting distracted by finding all the relics and letters all over the map. Is it really worth it to find them all?

Stepdaughter's wedding shower this weekend so all of the women will be very busy. ::) I need 2 more provinces for the win in FOTS and then the Emperor can rest easy. And Lydia & I have just discovered a new bandit hideout in Skyrim. So it's looting & conquering for me this weekend. Along with a nice drink and maybe a dip in the pool to cool off. 8)

Some disc golf this weekend... but in the gaming world I hope to play (I know I won't get to half of them but maybe just a small amount of time here and there and it helps you only sleep a couple of hours every night!)

Lol...same boat. I actually did start up another Stardrive game. Haven't played in months. Playing at .5x speed, I quite enjoy it...especially now that freighters are working properly and Marines launch in transports.

Will also continue to learn Moo3.
I might mess around with the Horizons alpha if they update it again. That diplomatic incident pissed me off so much I dropped it.

CiV BNW - about to lose my first game as the Shoshone, damn war with Rome has wrecked us both..... :P Maybe squeeze some MP in.

Wargame: AirLand Battle - trying to get back in the RTS groove... last one I played was C7C Red Alert. :o

Tropico 4 - Need to fire this up as I just got it in the Steam Sale.

Breach & Clear - fun iOS game.

War of the Zombie - really fun iOS game.

Competitive Dinner Preparation and Wine Drinking - My friend and I like to cook elaborate meals and we've been having a friendly competition where we go to the others house for the night and eat great food, cooked by the host, matched with great wine, brought by the guest. Our wives love it. Tends to be very drunken near the end.

I've got two great games lined up for me this weekend. One is Change the Car Oil and Filter and the other is Mow the Lawn and Trim the Hedges. Can't wait to start especially since it's going to be a scorcher for the first half of the weekend here.

Then I'll probably play a little StarDrive, Endless Space, and some XBOX.

Oh and I beat Warlock: Master of the Arcane in my long SP campaign. I'm feeling good about that victory. Good enough to take on the resident master of Master of the Arcane himself. 8)

MetalDog, you're going down once we resume our MP game with the boys. :)

Civ V BNW playing Belgium in the Scramble for Africa scenario. Came in 2nd place in he scenario as Morocco but it was greatfun anyway. Also feeling the pull of Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored DLC, and may start a new campaign of FOTS.

Sounds fun. I'll be playing 2 betas mostly: ARMAIII and CMANO.

I'm actually doing pretty good playing Venice in Civ5 BNW, so will keep that going as I can. But my weekend is going to look like W8's weekend, as long as we can keep the rain at bay.

I have a board game I need to playtest some, and if I can get it to reasonable shape, maybe upload here for folks to print-and-play as they desire (but that'll be a few weeks yet).
