Did U know SPWaW has a Win7/Vista Fix for those PCs that didnt work

Yes there are a few ways, there are graphic MODs, and Turn ID FLAGS on in preferences. the ENHANCED FINAL RELEASE MOD does an amazing job on all the game, graphics, OOB, everything has been upgraded get the MODS here http://enhanced.freeforums.org/ and the ENH FR MOD is also on spwaw.com/downloads I think somewhere.

there is a NORTH AFRICA MOD just for Multiplayer, Ive now got a 1000 scenarios loaded and tons of campagns.

if you got to the forum above, you will find how to update graphics but still use the vanuilla version of SPWaW, why would you do this well , the user falcon has zipped a scenario bundle 1000 scenarios for vanilla, so now you can play with updated graphics.

one thing that may be of use to you,the mod files have the spm extention , to uncompress it rename it to zip extention.

I have no idea what you are talking about with this vanilla version?
I just downloaded that matrix games SPWaW game, updated it to V8.403 then grabbed the Enhanced mod FR and installed it.
Do I need something else?
Could you link that 1000 scenario pack, please?

vanilla version is the original unaltered v8.043 versions NOT! Enhanced with any MODs (but Modswap can swap from vanilla to Enhanced). the 1000 scenarios and lots of campaingn zips are for vanilla, but you can also just upgrade the graphics from the enhanced FR Mod decribed in the last post to play with vanilla(8.403)

the scenarios and campaingnes maps etc.. are in a zip non exe files so no risk to your PC, its the user falcon that has created the zips
if you got to spwaw.com and go into the forums and navigate as follows:

the scenarios for Enh FR mod are mostly not useable in vanilla and , vanilla are not useable in the enhanced version, so you need to keep them seperate

Ah ok now I see, thanks for clearing that up. Does that also mean that all the scenarios listed in the game after you installed the Enhanced mod are actually compatible with that mod or are they vanilla as well?

the mod I don't think updates your vanilla scenarios so I don't think your comaptable with the vanilla, you can get Enh FR senarios at this forum

something to keep in mide is ModSwap, the MODs are swaped in and out as you like but modswap always uses the first version of SPWaW you have installed, even if you uninstall it still wants the first location for swaping MODs, and even if you use Modswap from a second installed version of SPWaW it still uses the first location.

this is not complicated just use the first SPWaW location for all your modding, and use second install for vanilla, btw you can have lots of separate installs.

If your new to SPWaW, goto spwaw.com and join the academy, there are special scenarios just for academy students, and lots of tactic and stategy material. you are tought how to go about a PBEM battle in steps eg: recon

I found the penatration tables at differrent distances(this give an idea of how far you should be from the enemy armor), and the percentage of a shot hitting idicator(so you learned to fire stationary etc...) was missing from spww2, so I would rather play spWaW for this. but SPWW2 is still a great game.
