I actually kinda like SotS : The Pit.

I've tried to enjoy it, but I think it's mechanics are too dull & sterile to be a great Roguelike.  Or maybe I've not cliqued with it because there really isn't a lot of variety in it.

Yeah, probably the latter.

I think The Pit is a fun timewaster. I don't agree that there is little variety.
But at the same time its not a full game, but no roguelike is for me.
