Intriguing. I really love these games, but I'll be holding out for some feedback. PR3 didn't come out in the best of shape and I ended up not playing it. I wonder how well they patched it up before moving on...

This kind of looks like Port Royale 3 set in the Mediterranean. I'd love to get this now but I'm tapped out for the rest of this month.

I have it but only get a black screen when I start. I get the password etc screen but zip after that.

It's been out in Germany for a while and there are several videos already up. As near as I can tell, the differences between this and P4 are that you can assign jobs to family members, and before you can rise in rank you have to be approved by voting members of some council or another.

I guess I wonder if the trade routes are as automated. In P4, it seemed like you could get to a point where your routes were so programed you really didn't have to do to much.

Yikes! I have yet to boot mine up. Will let you know if I encounter the same problem.

Gotcha. Mine booted up fine. But the boats look like they are going incredibly fast (a medieval sailor's dream). Occasionally, when zoomed in, they also have jerky movement. It did seem to clear up after a few minutes, but for a little bit it was quite immersion breaking (watching ships do little "rubber band" jerks backwards).
