Uber,

As far as its maps and campaign go, you should think of UoC as being like Panzer General. But with practically no intermission management. (You'll do your few unit purchases and upgrades at the start of the next mission, not between.) So every campaign has X number of limited maps, sometimes with branching missions (but not usually), sometimes overlapping, at corps level so the scale is larger than PG generally (no dedicated arty or similar support units which are attached to corps instead). With the new DLC, the whole southern sector of the Eastern Front will now be historically covered in campaign, from the first resistance by the Red Army to the final drive into Berlin. But it isn't like Case Blue or War in the East, it isn't one big map with a grand campaign or with a limited scenario on part of that big map.

(Technically there probably is one big contiguous map that the devs developed and build their campaign missions on, but the gamer doesn't play on that, only on selected sections of it at a time.)

This limitation is a big reason why the AI for UoC is so good, of course.
