Waterloo is it from the podcast....

GDS_Starfury

Toonces, we've matched the exact building in the screenshot.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

They provisionally want to include the following battles but as they said there is a lot up in the air so they can't guarantee including anything beyond Waterloo but Jim said they want, Quatre Bras, Ligny, Waterloo, Wavre

Grim.Reaper

Sounds like very early in development and long way off for release....but still good news to give us something to look forward.

undercovergeek

did they say how far out they were?

HistoricalGamer

They didn't really give specifics just that they are still a ways out.

They've said they would like to to include an Operational Campaign, they have said they want to include it in a sandbox style mode if possible.

Awesome! Napoleonic era - though i hope that more than just waterloo as done as that battle gets focussed on too much and massive battles and the gripping events from battles such as Wagram, Borodino, The Crossing of the Berezina, Dresden , Leipzig and the Penisular campaigns, all get too often overlooked.

Borodino in particular is a battle which needs a good game!just go and look up the images from epic borodino battle panorama musuem!

Lingy interests me as it seems to always get overlooked within the Waterloo campaign.

They've also said their semi hard deadline is no later than June 2015.

Norbs first ever commercial game that he helped work on was Waterloo Napoleon's last battle... interesting.

HistoricalGamer

Jim and Norb now talking about how they want to make SOW as modable as possible so players can create their own battles and even possibly campaigns. So if a player wants x battle they can easily make it. They are working heavily on making the game more modable than it is now.

HistoricalGamer

Norb "we have plans to return to the American Civil War but not until after Waterloo"
