Give it a go, Gus. The UI is..quirky, definitely, but it's nowhere near as terrible as a lot of folks make it out to be. Once you get the hang if it, it's actually a pretty flexible, intuitive interface, imo anyway.

Fantastic game, and well worth making the effort to get over the learning curve.

Agreed. The UI isn't so much bad as designed without much attention to Western game UI conventions. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty useful.

The game itself is excellent.

Awesome. I'll pull myself away from Battle Academy for a bit to try. Just peeking around the in-game encyclopedia was interesting.

What is the latest version for Steam?
The website says Apr 2015 but my Steam install is only up to Dec 2014. Is this correct?

Hi,

The latest Steam version is 2663, .. check in upper right corner of Main/Menu Screen.

This is the latest, .. and is actually May 2015. :)

Mine is definitely outdated. How do I update this? I can't find the installer. Where did Steam put it?

Hi Jomni,

Firstly, my apologies, .. I thought you were talking about SABOW, .. not GTOS.

I just checked my Steam version of GTOS, .. and it also says Dec 12s :(

I only recently purchased the Steam version of GTOS, .. so, I though it would already be at version April 2015. :)

My Gamersgate version is at April 2015, .. I updated it recently. :)

So, .. I'm not quite sure why the Steam version has not had the update yet.

I'll ask over on the Graviteam forums.
