You need a bigger ship to play with out load outs

Yeah I know - but you shouldn't really. I'm not talking about kitting out your ship (any ship) with lots of stuff...I just don't think you shouldn't be able to put a couple of things on there and I definitely don't think you should have to take essential kit off in order to put a couple of pieces on.

I've been having a blast with Interdictions (on me as well as me Interdicting others)!
Pure fun and it amazes me how many people just don't know how to maneuver their craft efficiently.
Cornering speed is a life saver (blue range on your throttle ), but very few seem to use it.

Trading I find tedious. I am having trouble getting a good chain of trades together so I dont end up running empty on a given leg.

Exploration is next om my wishlist to try, but I first need to buy a good fuel scoop.

Jar head I agree 100%. I think that's the one aspect I enjoy in x rebirth over elite is that the universe is alive  with huge ships loading and flying and flashing signs. Looks garish to some and I understand that, but it adds a certain immersion and vitality to space but just doesn't exist in elite. Elite is a far better game and I am playing it exclusively right now but I would like to see larger ships and especially military Navies instead of just police patrol ships

I think it was done to ensure specialisation so you can only make your ship one thing

So that no one can be an armed trader or tooled up miner its forced you to sacrifice one thing for the other so there's no jack of all trades outfit

There are navy missions, without which you can't buy the drop ship - I guess there's more story to come yet

Yeah, I would just like to see a naval ship making a port call or patrolling or something every now and then

I know there have been capital ships involved in the combat zones. It would be nice if they had them popping up on patrols.

Just took down a wanted criminal in an asp for a 43,000 credit bounty. It is really worthwhile checking out those unidentified signal sources.

Those are often tied to missions where you have to search for canisters of waste, blackboxes, npc's, etc. Not really worth it outside of the mission if you happen to come across one is my experience.

I saw some missions listed about tracking and eliminating someone - but they seemed really difficult and I worried about losing my ship because the bounty was so large, I was expecting some ACE pilot.

I have checked out some USC's, once I dropped out and picked up some canisters and another time I dropped out and saw a huge ship...no bounty or anything, so I bolted  ::)

I've run into situations where an Unidentified Signal gave me an alternate option for a mission.  One slave mission has a 50k alternative payout if I take the slave somewhere else.

This was not tied to a mission at all. It was a random wanted criminal. You can fly through space looking for ships with wanted status, take them down and earn a combat bounty at the local station. Doing this is worth it in my experience. Bounty hunting is a legitimate way of earning a living.

If you want to bounty Hunt, the best place to do it is a resource extraction location. Usually a ringed planet with a station that is close by will also have resource extraction points. These are in the rings I just hang out there and all sorts of pirates of bounties will flyby collect some vouchers and then head to the station which is usually about 30 light seconds away to cash in. Look for systems that are refineries or mineral extraction

I've heard that resource extraction zones are a hotbed of pirate villany.

I've been saving for a viper and either a hauler or an adder. However, I'm close to being able to afford a cobra. I'm having second thoughts about the viper/hauler and thinking I may better off with a cobra. I like running a combination of trade missions and combat runs. I've heard there really is no jack of all trades ship in the game so it is best to focus on dedicated craft. What to do what to do...
