If a message was going to be sent it would be bombers moved to the EU. For some reason, probably to avoid escalation, that is not being done. So the message is Russia can have Ukraine. Which they will. Not our problem yet.

But what if they go for Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania?

Won't happen until (if) they have had an excuse to turn the whole economy to military production. I bet they would want at least a full year of output before trying a limited test against NATO.

When their thugs have done as much damage as possible to gain territory in Europe/ Asia, and they are too dangerous to bring home, then he will kill them off in a resolve test against NATO.
