Why am I not surprised to see an op/ed on CNN telling us to stop "whining" about the price of gas?

Gas prices might have breached the $4 per gallon mark in the U.S., but there won't be much sympathy for the American plight in Europe.

And he goes on

Fuel is a drug the U.S. has long since needed weaning off.

I live 15-20 minutes from work, it gets me out of the city into a smaller town....  these people who do 1-2 hour commutes??? Fucking insane.

And Keunert, don't knock the moon colony.....  we have to get off this rock.... everyone down here is batshit crazy
