General Discussion / Re: So I bought an ebike...

I bought an ebike today. I couldn't resist. They were having great Memorial Day sales. It's a cargo bike and the thing that sold me was a promotional video with a dad riding with his two daughters sitting on the back. Thing can haul 450 lbs of cargo alone and has a range of 150 to 75 miles on a dual battery charge, depending on weight and how heavy the rider is on the throttle.

It is a class 2 bike that can be switched into class 3 mode. Really looking forward to it!

I am going through some of the history of the action on 6 June on Omaha Beach invic  Vierville-su-Mer.  I happened to come across this recon photo of the beach defenses.  Note how low the P-38 is flying:

Finally saw it.

I thought it sucked. With no context, it's basically meaningless. Barely even thought-provoking when the motives of most combatants in the movie remain almost entirely unknown and it's almost impossible to get behind any character in the movie. I agree with Arizona that there were some tense scenes, but each segment felt totally detached from the whole, leaving the sum very disappointing.

If you haven't seen it yet, definitely skip it until it comes to your subscribed streaming service.

Man...the F-4 is a fantastic module.
Reminds me of the F-14 at release; high quality, tons of systems already implemented, etc. Flying it feels great. It feels "heavy". And frankly, while dropping JDAMS is boring and LGBs are only mildly entertaining...taking out bridges and such with old Walleys and TV guided mavericks is a blast!

The F-4 has always been my favorite aircraft so im biased, but this may be the best module AT RELEASE that we have seen; related to the features implemented, the quality of the product and lack of bugs.

Its is the perfect module for DCS. It has a lot of gadgets, sensors and weapons to learn and play with yet ALL of those things can be modeled in exact detail b/c they are no longer classified. Cant wait for the A-7 for the same reason

One of the great songs from one of the most underrated bands of the late 80s/early 90s  :Dreamer:
