I don't know...the Romanians and Bulgarians have pretty good military records and are tough people in general. I wouldn't discount them against the Russians. Plus they have residual anger left over from Soviet times to fuel them, clearly.
Their cult of the machine has less funding, fewer tech-ups, fewer people to throw around.
Russia would really be gulping the kommie kool aid if they ratchet anything up with Bulgaria as a member of NATO.
