I was in about 6th grade in 1972. These songs bring back some memories. I remember listening to the
Walk on the Wild Side, kinda sorta thinking I understood what Reed was singing about, but not really sure.

See previous post. I would post all the songs I didn't use except for two reasons:
1) I will be using some of them for the Wild Card Brackets after the 40 yearly Brackets are finished
and
2) It would be a neverending, "How come you didn't use THIS song?!?!?!?!?!" So..., no. Not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent.

that's probably true, but I think 1972, 1984, and 1988 are going to be exceptionally tough.
