It does seem rather limited. I had a flak half track in il2 battle for stalingrad hoping to become good enough to protect convoys of tank players. This never really materialised. That would have been cooler. Maybe a 20mm quad train gunner.

Great, now I have to add another game to my wishlist that I won't have time to play.   I hadn't given it much attention because I thought it was pretty much multiplayer only, which I don't do.

Ah it's good to be back to Campaign Series Vietnam. We started up a new scenario using the latest BETA version of the Fall Update, mostly - I noted a data error so didn't use the weapon files. We started up Digging them Out, a Marine and ARVN infantry fight that takes place near Quang Ngai. We started our advance, which is unnerving on so many levels. The hidden snipers and machine guns are definitely something that makes you skin crawl. We have some Hogs on station, but with a dug in enemy, they are only so effective. We did start the morning with some napalm though! Gotta love the smell of napalm in the morning...

Been getting back into Dune Awakening. They added a cool single player mode that is totally customizable. Really fun. Also been playing Call to Arms Gates of Hell and I picked up Crimson Desert. Really Impressive game.

Shadow Empires.  My first attempt after a year ended in total failure.  I spent all my time reacting to my neighbors moves.  I thought the AI must have been improved but I think it was just me being stupid. I quit when my enemy launched a mechanized corps at me (APC's with infantry).  I had never seen one before and didn't think I ever would.   This attempt I'm trying to plan things in advance.

Let's see.  You need several friends who are willing to do the boring jobs.  Your chance of hitting a target per shot (being fullfilled) is maybe 1%. I see a lot of returns and a quick departure by the developers.

Picked up Sailing Era during the autumn sale.  This game truly is the spiritual successor to Uncharted Waters.

Not surprisingly Aurora 4x - I have almost built the first armoured division - 3 infantry battalions, 6 armoured, an engineer battalion and 3 artillery battalions and the transport drop ships are in the docks

There's a new total mod for sea power combining a rule the waves vibe with the game and that's chewing at the corner of my curiosity

And endless legend 2, and on and on and on

I have indeed heard good things about this film, and I know some folklore-types who would love it (and have probably seen it already).
