It's pretty easy to get into, IMO, but still has all the 4X staples. I recommend it, as it's easy to just pick up and play whenever you want without having to reacquaint yourself every time.

I play this and SoTS II and I enjoy both... I almost wish I could introduce the two and they have a child. Both fill my niche at the moment, however I still revisit MOO II from time to time.

I have enjoyed Endless Space for the last 3 weeks... Some folks dont like the battle system, but i find it helps move the game along quickly....For that price, it is a steal!

In a nutshell Fighters & Bombers are a new kind of armament which are treated as ships during a manual battle. They bring a new strategic dimension, and can be used to launch an instantaneous invasion on systems.

Bombers are meant to deal heavy damage to the opponent's fleet, whereas Fighters are both the first defense against Bombers as well as their primary protection. Note: Fighters deal little damage (Sub-note: Unless they get a direct hit on the exhaust port... ).

Sounds interesting. I hope this expansion is priced reasonably because I believe ES needed this from the beginning.
