Funny, I was actually playing that yesterday for a bit. I really, really suck at it. I have no idea how to conduct tank and ground warfare.

Looks like I'll be playing/learning Rawbots. I saw the RPS article earlier this week and kept going back to the website, so I finally caved and got the alpaha access. If you want cheaper access ($10 vs $30), theres some links here in this thread. I've only messed with it a bit, still very rough around the edges, but there is something there. I think the reason I'm drawn to it is becasue I use to play Omega.

Going to be putting my new Logitech gear through its paces this weekend. For my birthday last week I bought, with contributions from my family, a G110 Keyboard, a G600 gaming mouse, and a G13 one handed keyboard. Been playing around with device profiles the last few days and I think I've finally got everything set up. So far I like both the devices and the software a lot more then the razer stuff it replaced. The drivers allow you to have profiles that go across all the devices rather then razers way having a profile on a per device basis. The Logitech stuff also feels more solid. I'm not pushing the G110 and G13 around my desk by accident.

Been working my way through the main quest in Skyrim this week. Got the elder scroll (spoiler) and all the crimson nirnroot from blackreach last night. Upon reaching the throat of the world, Alduin proceeded to kick my ass two or three times before I called it a night. For anyone using the deadly dragons mod, never set it to insane difficulty. not sure how I why I set it that difficult, but it was fun. Going to turn it down to hard and see how the fight goes. I want to have the main quest wrapped up before the next DLC is released on the 5th, even though I probably wont get it right away.

I've also been playing my Kingdom of Italy Crusader Kings 2 game again. Lost all my current saves when my SSD crashed a few weeks ago. I also realized I;m the biggest idiot in the history of gaming. My first time playing I kept getting stuck with bad heirs after a certain point, because I thought I had no way have influencing who educates my heirs. Found out this week that you can offer to either educate a child yourself or one of your other vassals. I'm sure it depends on how much the parent likes you but something is better then having the realm fall apart due to idiots.

I also plan to play some AJE with the new patch.

If that's the case, I'll try to get on but I probably won't be at my best what with screaming obscenities in Chinese while poking the roof with a broom and all.

I'm giving Time of Fury a try and am enjoying it so far. I'm still fighting alone as Britain and trying to fend of the Nazis at home and in North Arfica. Maybe some World of Tanks or XCOM as well.

I actually got the Pacific one for free, as one of the extras in that last Indiefort Bundle sale during Christmas - for so many people purchasing the bundle. While I've not tried it yet, I was pleasantly surprised to see it (along with a few other games I didn't know I have) in my library at Gamersgate. I never expected the second or third tier of sales to be hit for it. 8)

I was on the beta test team for Storm Over the Pacific (assuming your talking about that one) and really never got into actually playing it after it was released. I spent months testing it and it was a lot of work:) Something about the game never really clicked with me, nor any of their other games. Maybe I was just burnt out on it from testing.

Have you considered mounting a bunch of subwoofers against the ceiling aimed up and endlessly looping Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music? You may yet reach an understanding with the up-neighbors.
