Finally fired this up tonight and played for about a half hour.

Really like it so far but I got stuck when I had to throw two darts at the same time to hit two gears simultaneously to open a door. How do I do that?

And of course the usual questions: what do you love about this game? Is there anything you dislike about it?

So...good. This was easily one of my favorite games of 2012.

Been long enough that I can't remember exactly how to throw multiple darts...can't you just select multiple targets before releasing the pause and it does it? I seem to recall doing that.

Supposed you play this game on the Xbox 360 then you can indeed select multiple targets with Y and then after releasing the dart button you'll hit them :)
Don't know the controls on the PC.

Hmm...ok...will try to select multiples and then release. The game is really well done for an indie.

I'm playing it. It's fun. What I don't like is sometimes the game is a bit too puzzle-ish, but overall it's fun.

I'm also not sure whether I get more points for taking out the guards or for bypassing them. Either way it's fun diversion and worth the $4 or $5 I paid for it on sale.

I'm dealing with that puzzlish nature curently. You wouldn't know how to hit two targets simultaneously with darts would you?

No.

Do you have to hit them both? Can't you hit one to distract him and then take out the other?

Yep!

I've barely played it yet (gonna buy a USB controller sometime methinks) but there is a combat pause key you can hold down and you can select multiple ranged targets that will pop when you let go of said key.  :D  I don't recall what it defaults to ('F'??  I really don't recall).

It's in the tutorial part.  If you need a primer, you can probably start a fresh game and play the first mission with all the tutorials on again ??

Gusington

Hmm...this part is in the tutorial :)

It's not two human targets but two gears I have to hit at the same time to open a door to advance.

If you're using mouse/keyboard, it's the "focus" command, which I think defaults to L-CTRL.

Gusington

Yeah I am using the mouse and keyboard and I tried a few times to use L-CTRL but I must have neen missing an additional command because I could only hit one object at a time...

Is this the room in the tutorial with the swinging lamp and the two gears on the two upper corners of the room? I just ran through it, and by having the darts selected, holding down L-CTRL, clicking on the two gears, then releasing L-CTRL, it fired at both simultaneously.

Gusington

HA yeah that's it! Thanks man...now I have to wait 5 hours until I am in front of my computer again to try it out.

How many hours of gameplay would you all guess there is in he game? 10, 20?

Arctic Blast

According to Steam, I put 10 hours in to it. That sounds about right.

LongBlade

I'm three hours in and it feels like a lot more.

I tend to play it for a few minutes then either get frustrated or distracted and play something else. With Orcs. Who must die. 2.
