I thought the graphics looked better before the big gfx update.  Now it has that shitty vaseline-smeared hazy look with all the post-processing crap they put in.  If this is what some of these designers think makes it look 'real', then they need an eye exam and some bottle-thick glasses.  ::)

Agreed, but the nice thing is you can disable all that post-processing junk. I know I did about two days after the "upgrade" came out. I'm still playing with the original non-post-processed graphics. :)

I am beginning to think the only way to play World of Tanks is by just playing one type vehicle all the time. I feel that playing many different types of tanks, tank destroyers, and self-propelled guns prevents me from getting really good at playing a particular armored vehicle.

But I must be an altoholic because I can't just play one tank; I have to have 86 in my garage...so far.

Ive pretty much stuck to just the German tech tree and currently have 6 tanks.  a loltraktor, Pz-4, E-50, E-75, Stug III and my beloved Ferd.  a lot of people bitch about the bias against the German line and to some extant its true but if you really learn how they work their awesome.  the E-75 is one badass monster once you learn it and the matchmaker is very kind to the Ferd.  the Pz4 and Stug are the money makers and the loltraktor is just there to kill new low tier tanks for awards.

no, not really.  there are those awards for killing every nations tanks but they reset when new tanks are added.  so Ive got that tank just to have a crew on hand to take care of business.

Yes, 86 is a lot of tanks. Sometimes I feel like selling about 80 of them. At least that would give me enough credits to buy some Tier 10 tanks. But I rarely use any tanks that are higher than Tier 6, so what would be the point?

I recently re-purchased a Pz4 and a Stug when they were on sale for half price. I would do the same for a Hetzer if I had an empty garage slot. I am halfheartedly researching the Ferdinand, but I just can't bring myself to grind it like I once would have done. After having fought in over 20,000 matches, I just don't have the desire to spend hour after hour grinding. My original plan was to stick strictly to the German tree. I'm not sure when and why I began going down the other trees, but I have tanks of all the nations now.

I don't remember when the last time was when I used my E-75. Higher tiered tanks stay parked in my garage unless there's a good special on and usually only then if I happen to have a free Premium account. But I agree with you, "the E-75 is one badass monster once you learn it"--the only problem being that I haven't used it enough to really learn it.

86 tanks - I know what you mean, after all the hard work to earn them, it's tough to just sell them off. I have about 50 plus and unlocked another dozen or so.  At some point it seemed they Nerf'ed the credit earnings so it became too much work to earn the 32 million credits needed  to buy the unlocked ones, non-premium. If they ever add a dozen new maps and some new gameplay modes, I might give it another go at some point.
