I completely agree with you.  Even before the disgusting Greenlight nonsense, it was well known that if Valve turned down your game they never gave a reason why.  How amazingly rude.  I have an extremely low opinion of them.

We have no idea if it is going to be released on Steam, we just submitted it to Steam Greenlight in the hope we would get voted in.

That is unfortunate to hear.  That can't be a viable way to run a business.  I've always been a fan of companies that communicate with their customers.

how about your WW1 game coming to Max OSX? it was announced but i never found any details. i do parallels but only if absolutely necessary.

Commander is being ported to both iOS and OSX at the moment, again time frame Q2-Q3 this year.

I wish I could give a set date, but we might have to re-script the AI, so in that case it will take a bit longer...

As with Battle Academy, we don`t do dumb down iOS versions, the games on all platforms are basically the same and you can play cross-platform MP games through the PBEM servers.

The porting of the Commander and Panzer Corps engines is quite a big task, but the good news is once it is done future expansions, DLC, sequels, prequels or new games using those engines will be PC, Mac and iOS simultaneous releases. Same game on all platforms and all platforms can play against eachother on the PBEM servers, just like Battle Academy.

I like the idea of a mega pack. It's a pity it's not been done with Field of Glory. :(

Well they don't really need indie developers.  It's the indie developers that need them.
