Internet slowdown - massive attack

Apparently there is an internet attack going on that is slowing the net all over.

Of the sites I usually visit this one is about the only one I see impacted. Getting into the site seems to take about 15 seconds. It was the same yesterday.

If somebody does a cyber attack on Canada it has to be between 0800/1200 and 1300/1600 EDT because those
are the only hours the National Cyber Crime Unit people operate.*  Any other times attacks will just go nowhere because
