Grim, looks like the fine print says 'up to' 50%. And it looks like you have to hunt for those (shaped like green or blue easter eggs) on the product pages. The main coupon is for 10%.

I'm a bit confused by the line that says 'Each 30-50%code can be only used 5 times". Does that mean only 5 people will get it or that each person can get 5 games at the higher discount?

Well I used the easter code to pick up BA Operation Husky, so it gave me $1.50 off a $15 purchase.  It's all good with me.

Probably just me, but this seems like a lame sale.  They had an opportunity to offer a sale and get good will from people who think their games are expensive.  Having a limited small quantity also not so great since likely unequal chance for people to get.

Probably would have been better just to offer everyone 25-30% off for a day or two...

I guess in the end doesn't really matter to me since not a single matrix game I want right now:)

This! Lame is the word of the day...making folks surf their site(s) and then you find an Egg and you are...too late for the discount.

I agree this was lame, all the codes greater than 10% were gone in a few hours after it started. I wish Matrix had a couple of sales at different times of the year VS just one big one at the end of the year.

Also, maybe it's just me...but I hope they are sending some advertising $ Grogheads way.  I think it's kind of poor form for a business to "advertise" on somebody's forum without sending a few coins their way.

I don't mind that they did a special sale/promo.  I'm not about to look a gift horse in the mouth, after all. 

However, it would've been better if they'd announced ahead of time when they were going to do it, rather than suddenly springing it on everyone and saying "go!".  As it is, the extra codes would've been gone before most folks even knew what was happening.

I think it was actually a neat, creative sale idea. But I see two problems with it.

1. Limited uses for found Easter eggs means only early visitors get them. Maybe space them out over a few days the next time?

2. People couldn't even determine if the discounts had been used up until they reached checkout. That's fairly obnoxious.

The concept was sound, it just needed to be done a little better. No need to dump the whole idea, though.
