I would pay £80 for a game like this, its one, if not the best turnbased stategy games you will play!

I know the description over at GG says this is a turn based strategy game but the battle screenshots look very total war'ish.  Are battles also turn based?  If they are this is a no brainer purchase for me.

You have no control over the battles w8 - you set up the formations and what you'd like the troops to do for the battle and then watch the movie - no input from the player

^Thanks.  Not exactly the answer I was hoping for however at it's current pricepoint and all the enthusiasm here by fellow Grogs makes me believe I won't regret getting this game.  Hence, after work I shall purchase this game!  ;D

I doubt you'll regret it.  It really is an incredible game and extremely involving.  It's one of those games that has so much content that it almost feels like there are no rules.  I love it!

With the recent influx of new players, y'all should get a multiplayer game going!
