Thank you, sir.  I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of games might seem to play out this way if you just "picture book"-ed them, as Bison coined it.

I need to build more cities, so, that will be the direction I take in the short term.  At +91 relation with Helia, and the Temple I intend to build to Dauros (and the Paladins I will gain for completing the Quest), I should have enough hatred of Lunord for him to send his avatar.  With my Heroes, Spells and experienced troops, I feel like I have the best chance to succeed.  But I will need to be able to pay for all of it in Gold, Food and Mana.  Thus I will build more cities and they will pay for the expansion.

You are too kind, bob.  Will you be on this weekend?

It's not a GFE, but, the ability to literally fight fire with fire is too good to pass up.

The first Lost Artifact is a Combat Broom.  That is bad ASS!!  Flying AND +10% unit power!  Sha-ZAM!!!  On a related note, because Lanceles found the Artifact AND he could use the Broom AND had an open slot, the Combat Broom was automatically equipped.

On his way to the other Lost Artifact, my Stubborn Knights pick up a little treasure.

And no, that is not a repeat of two pictures ago.  The second Lost Artifact is a Combat Broom, too...HELL YEAH!!  Now I have to decide who to give it to.

Ig is down South with a crew, fighting Rjakh and trying to put him out of the game.  Flying would help him immensely.  Bradis is more experienced and has a powerful distance attack.  Plus, he is in the same area as Lanceles and, in tandem, could put Frosty out of the game, too.  Bradis it is.

Helia's Temple is complete and I now have a +91 Relationship with her.  Conversely, my Relationship with Lunord is -91.  Nine more to go and we'll see if things heat up :)

There's Gold in the Treasury and more damage is always a good thing.  I snap it up.

Doomford falls and I claim my reward.  Those Halberdiers will be much appreciated, but they start so far away (back at the Capitol, Eatmor).

I capture Bonberg from Rjakh and Ig gains a level and a bit more protection from Magic.

I wish they made a Spell that does this for Gold instead of Mana.

My Ghost Wolves were injured and couldn't hold the city.  Doomford falls to Frost.
