I haven't built any Shamans out of here yet, but when I do, they will have some good protection.

In an effort to get that Temple to Dauros built A.S.A.P., I have to invade a monster filled area.  And cross water to do it.  If I've not said it before, I hate that crossing water makes your units so weak.  Yes, I get it, it's a game balancing mechanic.  Doesn't mean I have to like it.  :(  Anyways, in my journey to the farther shore, I loot an Ogre's den for a Spell and some Gold.

This can't get here soon enough!   My units are at a level now that 30HP healed will be a great blessing.

That is the uphill climb I have to make.  And the ascent has to be fairly rapid.  I have a Stubborn Knight, about to die from over abundance of Ogres in its vicinity, a Minotaur unit and a unit of Dwarves and one of Goblin Snipers in the water.  Arrayed against me is two units of Demons, two GFE and four Ogres.  Not sure I like my odds very much.

And now GL and Frosty are going at it again.  The Librarian will ask me to join the war, I will decline the first invite and break the Alliance.  When he asks again next Turn, I will have no choice but to join.  I think I have enough troops in the area to at least stalemate.  And then several Turns from now, a new Alliance will proposed and GL will give me gifts to sweeten the pot.

I can't really afford a two front war (three, actually), so I decline again.  Hopefully our game long relationship will favor the a.i. into not reacting too badly to my second refusal.
