pretty sure - it's the same publisher, and its full title is "Race to Adventure: The Spirit of the Century Exploration Game"

Well I've looked at those games. If you have learned the rules to them, that's pretty awesome feat on it's own.

It´s not that hard... There is a bunch of rules, but if you start to play it, you'll see they are pretty straight forward...

I already have the Case Blue from this series, my only problem is the lack of opponents, so I´ve started to make tutorials to "convert" people to the cause... ;)

And I also have a dream, a play of grand campaign of Guderian´s Blitzkrieg/Case Blue together... but probably I´ll need to wait retirement to do this... :o

A wargaming friend of mine has the same dream, lovingly hanging on to his own copies for retirement. We played the first couple of intro scenarios of GB many moons ago. OCS is a great system once you learn it.

Just bought a used copy of GMT's Three Days at Gettysburg....what a monster!!! Unfortunately, I will probably never play...just open it every once in while and day dream about playing it...

Commands and Colors: Ancients + Expansion pack #5 arrived just before I left for N. Carolina last week. Spent the night stickering, sorting and storing the pieces. Laminated the charts and the overlays and cut them out. I need to get the right sized card sleeves. My son is the one that was really wanting this game as he's all into ancient warfare at the moment but as I was reading the rules, I got really pumped up to give this one a try. I was afraid that it was going to be a Memoir '44 beer and pretzels game but it is much, much deeper than that. Unfortunately, my son left the day after I got back on his summer vacation so I won't be able to play until late July (except solo I suppose).

I see that somebody is selling "Epic Ancients II" on CSW as well. I'm reading reviews for it and I like the idea of double the map size for more manuever. It sounds like you need (or should have) the early expansions though in order to play Epic Ancients. Not sure if I should pick this one up since it's out of print or not (will it get played "epically"?). What's your thoughts you CC:A fans-

That one does look to be quite the monster. I've often looked at that one and wondered how it played compared to The Gamer's CWBS/CWR series. I hear that Richard Berg's rules can be a "monster" of a chore to get through as well. Is there a VASSAL module for this one? That would be the way to go - maybe you can sit in on some games and learn enough to pick it up. Then you can set it up on the table at home and invite the neighborhood kids over to watch a history lesson. :)

You CAN play the combined games on Vassal. All the scenarios are already setup for you in the module. http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Case_Blue_/_Guderian%27s_Blitzkrieg_II I have a Vassal opponent that I've been playing a scenario with.
