Don't forget about Oscuros Oblivion overhaul, pretty much the SkyRe of Oblivion.

PanzersEast: Have to think to myself.... will I play the first one by the Winter Sale?  Probably not, then I should remove Dragonfall
PanzersEast: but that is thinking too logically.... and Steam Sales are about ignoring Logic

Oops, probably the top mod.... added it to the mandatory list.

Also, those who are coming from Skyrim to Oblivion should know that they are coming to the province of Cyrodiil which is located south of Skyrim and the heart of the Empire nested in the center of TamrielCyrodiil is considered the capital province of Tamriel with its capital city being the Imperial City and from which the Emperor rules. Oblivion takes place during the Third Era and the Oblivion Crisis which is 200 years before Skyrim.

Do the nexus mods work with Steam versions of the game...and if yes, do they require a degree in computer science to do? Sorry for the sarcasm, but I am not good with computers and have struggled with getting mods to work....I like the Steam mods because you do nothing but click a button that installs it.

The mod manager works with the Steam version of the game.  The Nexus Mod Manager will scan your hard drive for the install path of Oblivion.  It is very easy to install them and as far as the order goes, use BOSS to handle that for you.

There maybe a step by step tutorial for you, but it is easy to do and BOSS will check your mods to make sure they are in the correct order.

1. Find and download the mod on the Nexus Site

2. After you download a mod you then click the Add Mod from file button in the mod manager, browse to the mod (do not unzip or unrar) click on it and the mod manager will do the work to import it.

3. Next, all you have to do is double click the mod in the list you just imported (it will have a red X beside it indicating it has been imported but it is not active) and it will activate and install the mod. There should now be a Green Check beside it.  If it overwrites files, you will need to check the documentation to make sure it is compatible etc....

4. Run BOSS to double check and reorder your mod list as needed.  You can also go into NMM and view the mod order if you need to manually move something.

Heres a couple of tutorial videos on NMM and Boss. Theo videos were made for Skyrim, but the same concepts should apply to Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Oblivion.

Nothing to add (other than thanks ;) ), just registering for comment tracking.

Note that GotY Delux edition of Obliv is available on Steam for $25, same at Gamersgate (which is reselling a Steam version); could go on sale either place at any time of course.

So, will there be a thread for Morrowind, Daggerfall, or even Arena? (I owned the original Arena but was lost the whole time in what I was supposed to do. ;) Never picked up ES2 or ES3 due to bug reports.)
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse
Survive Harder! -- Two season narrative AAR, an Amazon Blood Bowl career.
PanzOrc Corpz Generals -- Fantasy Wars narrative AAR, half a combined campaign.
Khazâd du-bekâr! -- narrative dwarf AAR for LotR BfME2 RotWK campaign.
RobO Q Campaign Generator -- archived classic CMBB/CMAK tool!

Its actually possible for Morrowind. NMM works with it so it should be just as easy to mod as Skyrim or Oblivion I've been wanting to try out the new texture overhaul mod that was released last year. I need to dig up up old CD copy of it (not likely to find) or wait until the next Steam sale. Probably not for Daggerfall or Arena. I never played them so I'm not sure how moddable they were. I'm doubt they could even be run on a modern machine right out of the box anymore or if you can even purchase them anymore (don't see them on either Steam or GOG).

I may do a Morrowind post, however the biggest change to it is http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/36945 and would have to dig around to find the others but I can do it.....

I feel pretty confident I've seen a Daggerfall mod at some point, although no not Arena. (I still own Arena, btw. :) )

Daggerfall would involve one hell of a mod operation; its land area reportedly scales out to being equal to the state of Georgia.

Large chunks of the nations bordering Skyrim are included Skyrim of course; only a matter of time before the modders recreate Redguard or something like that (a game that could definitely use a remake. And some common damned sense in its level design.)

There's a lot of enemy leveling mods out there in Googleland, but I don't see one recommended here. Sorry to reawaken a thread that's been dead over a year, but do any of you have specific enemy leveling mods you use? Thanks.
