Dungeon Siege $1.74

Hell of a deal at Steam if you've never played this gem from way back in 2005--$1.74. One of my all time favorites, the newer versions fell away in my opinion and were more of a drag to get through. Not the most serious of Hack & Slash games and kind of dated now but one of the most flexible in terms of class advancement and some truly epic designed levels to battle in. My favorite was an underground goblin industrial complex with a boss fight against a goblin-manned Mech Warrior type foe. He put his metal foot in my flesh ass a few times before I could get past him.

I grabbed the Dungeon Siege 3 collection, despite all the previous complaints about it being too much of a console port.  At $5, it's worth a try.

Agreed...one of only a handful of RPG's I ever finished all the way to the end.  It was a lot of fun.  Nothing deep or complex, just fun.

I didn't find it fun at all, it played itself.  Click on bad guy, hit H to stay alive.  Boring as hell.
