HPS Sims: Defending the Reich

I'm still on my Bomber Command kick so I was thinking of picking up Defending the Reich. Anyone still play it? Does it hold up? Did they ever add higher resolutions beyond 1024 x 768?

I have it as well and enjoyed it as it has been a while. I believe that the resolution is fixed, however is not that bad. It is a well thought out game and one that is very fun to play.

The game comes with wonderful video tutorials for both the allied and axis side. I read the rules, then watched the video and the learning process was very complete.

One of the great parts of this game is how different it is to play each side. It is really two games in one because playing the axis is completely different game than playing the allies.

If I have Gary Grigsby's Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich from Matrixgames is this one worth picking up?

I've decided to go and take a ride on a real Lancaster instead. Should be an experience.
