IMPORTANT the steam links to reg your CD keys were not working for some reason, I had to pause downloads of the games & go manualy to Novalogic wesite and signup to novaworld and regester my CD keys from steam, but it looks like its all still multiplayer server, but be a while before I try, still downloading about 35 games on steam will take some time

I played these games a few years ago they were realy good and realistic, I could not resist at the price

just click on a novalogic game to get access to the game pack for purchase

these were realy good wargames.

I always found their games the B-movie equivalent of (light)sim games. :P

£12 for 16 games :) I had to jump-in ! I liked Joint Ops when I used to play, you can tear aroud a jungle river in a boat etc... I think they were good when I played them but I will have to see if I still think there ok, but I did think they were realistic when I played Joint Ops was better than some modern games at giving a big game area for lots of players.

Joint Operations was excellent back in the day. Far better than the Battlefield series.

But AFAIK there probably isn't much going on in their multi-player servers, if they're even up & running. That game is like.. about 10 years old?! What's worse/better, the maps were just massive so you did need quite a few people in each server (the player capacity was 150 IIRC) to make it feel like a full-fledged war. It was beautiful when it was in full swing.

Pretty sure I heard that there's no population anymore due to it being so old.

150 players I thought it was something like that thanks for the reminder, I don't know how good the servers are now as you say, but Novalogic.com looks promising, and novaworld are still around, maybe more people will join-up now with such a bargain 75p a game :) If I remember right you can play the JO expansion offline with bots, I think it was training mode but they may not be roaming bots. at the price even single player these games may be worth £12

JointOps and it's expansion would really be the only ones I'm interested in but I still have doubts as to whether the servers are still populated after all these years.

That was my favorite multiplayer shooter of all time, but you really need a LOT of people in the servers to bring out the fun what with all the vehicles, helos, watercraft, and massive map with a numerous control points. Some of the big pluses were a more tactical-shooter style (you could kill with a couple bullets to center mass, or less even) and large well-crafted maps that allowed you to recon/shoot people from 1km or more. Which all forced you to be careful of how exposed & concealed you were as a grunt on foot. It even had nice tall elephant grass & such to hide in which, back then, was pretty amazing for a big combined-arms multiplayer shooter.

It's probably showing it's age pretty bad these days, graphics-wise. I really wish they could make a new version with similar gameplay. I suppose Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm is probably the closest in gameplay style but the maps and player limits are smaller and it's not a modern setting like JO with such varied vehicles & terrain.

I don't see the Novalogic bundle on Steam. I tried several of the games individually but no bundle option was listed.

just tried test Hosting on Delta force 1 and 2, you seem to host from your local PC through novaworld no account needed I think, so you are the server , not gone into it to much. feels like a realistic sim for its day if you can forget the bad graphics.

better graphics than df1/2 Joint Ops needs you to sign up for a novaworld account for multiplay, but you can play offline against bots. base assault is just like modern control point spawning. you can play any mission you want.

not gone into them to much but you can play any mission you want. definitely worth the £12 I paid for 16 games for messing around, still got tanks and planes to check now.

Black Hawk is 1600 res Wow! Land Warrior is 1024 res , but still bad graphics :(

I got a freez when I tried to connect to Novaworld game, could be my firewall. You can host these games on your LAN so that might be fun.

OK Xtreme2 needs you to acticvate on nova as soon as you start, but it logsin in game, I connected to a server and joined in a game, I also played SP and found the graphics comparable to JO

BHD is a fun SP game.

all in all Im glad I have these games, been fun.
