So...many...new...choices...!

But maybe I'll get back to Hitman Absolution. And all of my traded-for board games have been showing up in a flood, so I need to take a look at those.

What is "traded for"...I sometimes sell games on eBay and the like in order to buy a new one...and I have my eyes on Phantom Leader Delux and selling my Phantom Leader game (which is my fav!)

I've been trading quite a few games with other BGG users. You send them something you don't want that's on their Want List, they send you something they don't want that's on your Want List, and both of you get a new game for the price of postage.

Been playing Football Manager 2013 in 'Classic' Mode.  This mode is nice because it cuts down on most of what I consider boring minutae so the seasons move along at a faster pace.

While I've never been a fan of soccer/footie, I gotta admit  SIgames has one of the most detailed sports management sim games out there.  Of exceptional note is the excellent UI which is a rarity in this niche genre.  Lots of on-screen prompts and tips so it was relatively easy to get into.  The in-game interaction was pretty much perfect for my tastes - I usually just "sim out" games in other games of this type but this one is far more user-friendly and customizable.

I may check out Prison Architect alpha, since I just purchased it on the sale.  If that doesn't float well just yet, I have many other Builder/Management types games since the mood has stuck me once again.

I couldn't agree more.  I've never played soccer and have only watched a handful of real games but I've been buying this every year for the last 13 years.  I couldn't begin to count how many thousands digital soccer games I've watched.  Now if they would only make an American football version...

Congrats to sandman and republic.  I watched my daughter being born while I was at the equator.  I missed the rent roast beef, but still saw the placenta emerge.  So, a win-win for everyone.

Ended the weekend by playing Civilization V: BNW all day today. Started a game on Warlord (easy) difficulty as Morocco. I think I'm working towards a cultural victory. I can't really tell. I'm unclear as to what I should be doing with my great artist, use them to create a great work that goes into one of my settlements or for the straight up culture boost. Game getting a little boring on Warlord since no one is declaring war on anyone. Going to crank up the difficulty for my next game.

the whole planet was visible while that child was been born, that sheet is there now for the woman's modesty during photos - it was not there for the delivery (hint its clean) (OMG look at the size of the baby compared to mom ..... that HAD to hurt!)
