Steam summer sale damage thread

forgot the Origins 'every command and conquer ever ever bundle' - not a sale but a summer purchase - i hope its as good as i remember

In all fairness I stuck to my wish list and skipped on several that I thought was too much.... 7 Steps was one I wanted, but felt I did not have enough discount and decided to wait on Skyrim DLC.  I did deviate and picked up Retro City and X3 TC & Prelude at the last moment..... only thing I did not find in the Steam Sale was a Extra Time DLC!

Tried to take it easy this time and I think I did pretty well. Half of the games I bought in last year's sale are still still waiting to be installed..

I spent ~$92 on all these summer sales (GOG, Steam, GG) but I picked up about 14 titles.  A couple of which I had planned to actually get beforehand.  :P

And I also picked up the Spiderweb Software Humble Bundle.

This is indeed true, although my collection is modest. Actually, I've been playing more board wargames than anything else, since that is my real preference.

I could do with a decent DAK type game at the moment. 'Blood and Sand' looks OK, although I would have liked one that covers the Tunisian Campaign as well.

Bioshock Infinite - finally cracked on the last day and I'm enjoying it
Sins of a Solar Empire - already had this and bought it again because I'm LAME!

That was it. I was too taken with alot of the offers and/or had alot of them.

I toyed with the buy button for a couple but never actually pulled the trigger.

On a HUGE plus note, I finished Far Cry 3. A brilliant game (bit samey) but good story...well worth the money imo (and I paid full whack for it)

Still have more then a few items on my wishlist but the majority of them are games I'm still on the fence about.

Hegemony Gold is a really good buy if you like Ancient wargames. :)
