I haven't got a real haircut in 5 years! And my clothes are questionable at the very best.

I don't how I would NOT like The Historian, honestly, and I totally agree on the subjectivity of books, games, music and art. In this day and age of inexpensive amusement, as long as I have a job...what do I really have to lose?
