I've never heard of a developer who doesn't want to make new games because it would require imagination and the creation of something new and original.  Its like a home builder that doesn't want to build another house because it would require new plans, more wood and more cement.

Weird.

He said it was partially because he had no interest as he felt the western front was already covered by a lot of games but also because GT didn't have the budget to model new vehicles and new deformable buildings.  Several users told him he should try to get the titles on Steam as it'd greatly expand his sales but he outright refuses to do so.  He makes a lot if noise about disliking the Steam platform but I suspect the real reason is that he can't make a patching process that meets steams requirements.

I think if they had the money they would love to build a new house, but it looks like all they can afford is  additions and modifications to the old house.

I personally would like to see the game head to the Ardennes in Dec.1944 or the Central Russian front during Operation Mars in Nov.-Dec. 1942.The winter representations for this game are my favorite.

I do agree. I think Western, Eastern Fronts and North African Fronts are covered all too much in wargames. There were many other fronts, not to mention many other wars.

I think there is plenty of coverage for all aspects of WW2. That's why I like the DLCs...although Angola is a littl obscure...

I bought Graviteam Tacitics because of Angola.  8)
I wouldn't have bought it if it were a pure WW2 game.

This is the one game that has me greet news of a patch with trepidation, rather than excitement.

Yep...I still haven't installed the last one. Don't think I even remember how at this point.

What's the problem?

1) download patch
2) run installer from game menu
3) point installer to patch download location
4) move patch up or down priority list as per patch notes
5) click install
6) done
