Those of you who know me know I don't place much faith in Hollywood actors.

However, my kids had the TV on watching the Kids' Choice awards earlier this week, and when Ashton Kutcher gave his acceptance speech I was blown away by the maturity and the message he gave.

It's about four and a half minutes, but gets good around the 2 minute mark for those of you who don't want to hear all the tennieboppers swooning over him.

One of the great lines: "I never had a job in my life that I was better than."

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

That is a bit of a surprise.  Much more down to earth than I would have pegged him for.  To bad no one in the audience was really paying attention.......

Guys, guys, guys....


Tent was old enough to stay up and watch without mom.  He's even old enough to get his own juicebox while he's watching!

He's also young enough that he can look up to Ashton and his advice and aspire to be just like Kutcher in 15-20 years or so, whenever he catches up in age.
