I have no idea what this weekend will hold gaming wise.  I am busy preparing for the upcoming school year and soccer season and that is taking most of my time.  However, well needs breaks I plan to spend my time in front of some sort of computer goodness.  Now that I think of it I really want to start a new CKII campaign ... hmmm ...

Going to be a Paradox centric weekend for me. Going to continue to feed my EU IV addiction. It's been a long time since a game has kept me up until the early hours of the morning during the week. The more I play, the more I think this may be Paradox's best game yet. CK2 is still ahead because I generally like the medieval era over the Renaissance. I really like the balancing act between power points, prestige and stability. Since power points in particular are spent on virtually everything; from gaining stability, coring provinces, teching up, and national ideas, it makes for some really interesting and more often then not, really hard decisions.

So far in my ironman Castile game, I've kicked Aragon off the Iberian peninsula and have finished of Grenada. The only thing keeping me from forming Spain is needing admin tech level 10. Am building my first colony in Seirra Leone. I also dropped a conquistador and small army off in Brazil and did some exploring before I recalled the army home in preparation to take the last province I need for the "continue the Reconquista mission" from Algiers.

If anyone is interested, I'd like to set up a EU IV MP game sometime this weekend.

If I can tear myself away from EU IV I'm going to go back to CK2 and start a game with either the CK2+ or the Prince and the Thane mods.

I've been in this Space mood for weeks now... Bouncing between various 4xs and playing a ton of Homeworld 2 complex. I think EU4 might snap me out of it but not sure. Something keeps bringing me back to space games. I used to hate them up until a year ago or so. Now I have no interest in any other genre. Kind of annoying actually!

I am going to give Shogun 2 a rest for a bit after my win and spend some time trying to finish Far Cry 2 and Bioshock which have been on my HD for ages! Wargame European Escalation has just been released by GOG so I also plan on picking it up for some Cold War RTS fun.

Got my new Panther in World of Tanks so I'm building up my XP to get that built off of stock.

Its a high school team and I think that is just for club teams.  Plus this is my first year coaching so I've got to start small.  :)

The (future) Mrs. is going out of town this weekend so it will be a gaming bonanza!  Civ IV will be played.  Multiplayer even!  There will be Paradox and Betas and maybe even and oldie but goodie.
