Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

I've been putting this off - mainly because it's almost time for weathering and I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. It's not like a plane - there's lots and LOTS of nooks and crannies so I'm not sure my weathering solution will work.

I think I need to read/watch some guides on it using pastels (which my daughter has)

well.....

dont sweat the process.  the nice thing about weathering is that you can always go back over it with washes of your base color..  and the nice thing about pastels is you can always remove it with a q-tip.  ;)

Latest - not much work - things are slow because the light is so bad. Yes - I do have lights in my room, but it's still not conducive to scale modelling

Damned Humbrol Matt Black paint I bought turns out looking Gloss!!

I'm fine tuning the painted bits. I've decided I'll probably leave the skirts off the bottom of the "wheel armour plates"...I like having some of the wheel on show. Besides, they look like a terrible fit.

I've finished adding a couple of minor sections and will likely have the "tidied" version done at the weekend so I'll post some pics, then it'll be on with the clear, on with the decals, on with the Humbrol Matt (hopefully) varnish and on with the weathering
