Good lord SDR, that game sounds like crap!  Can't believe they wasted an entire day with that nonsense. 


As for myself, I was visiting family down in southeast MN this weekend.  I've still got the evening left for gaming, but not sure yet what I'll play.  Maybe FE:LH, maybe Distant Worlds, maybe something else.

It's a movie quote.  At least, I heard "motherbitches" used in a move line before, by someone with a foreign accent IIRC.  Can't recall exactly which flick at the moment.

I played the demo of that when I had the Telus Internet and TV cable guy come and hook my connection up for me.  It was pretty damned funny.  "Why the....what the?!....Look!  Look at this!  They've got this cable going into a 3-way splicer, then coming out as a single connection, going out of the wall, going back in, and then going to a 7-way splicer!  Can I take a photo of this?  Nobody's going to believe it." 

Followed by "What the hell is that?  I've never even seen a wire like that!  It looks like a 12-pin ribbon cable but there are only 8 pins.  Do you know what it's for?"  and finally "Mind if I just check the phone-jack?  Hey, this thing's hooked up to a modem.  It's still active at 9600 baud!  Any idea what it's connected to?"

Oh...I wish to amend my gaming list for the weekend.  I've been getting into a heavily patched and modded CLOD...and it is AMAZING!!!!

  Thanks to this post, I patched from TF 3 to TF 4.  Nice to have the fighter Blenheim as a flyable plane.  I've been sending it on secret missions to shoot down high-ranking Germanic types in Bf-108s over France during the morning rush.

  Note to self:  Right!  So what really happened this weekend?  Rome II - Macedon is doing okay.  Flying Colors -- more tinkering to get a 1748 flavor.  CLOD.  CLOD was pretty fun -- trying out the newly-flyable planes, trying to get interesting screenshots and so on.
