Just read the email about the cancellation :o... very disappointing, but I'll be keeping my eyes open for the reboot.

Hopefully it's second coming will have addressed some of the concerns people had. Notably the far too cartoonish textures.

Red Baron was my very first computer game played on my very first PC, back in...ugh...1990. It launched my flight sim career, and I've flown just about all of them by now.

For me, it's unthinkable to not support Damon Slye in this endeavor. Yes, it may not end up having the technical perfection of Rise of Flight, or the astounding campaign system of Over Flanders Fields. If it is fun, and reasonably historically accurate....AND sucks in a whole new generation of young kids...I'm all for it.

If they're smart they'll read our last GARPA edition and realize that if they go to Indiegogo and select Flexible Funding then they can keep all funds pledged whether they meet their goal or not.

Problem here is probably that the target audience aren't exactly the kind to embrace modern technology such as whatever a twitter is. You'd need a longer sign up time for us old farts, I had planned to pledge eventually.
