I know there have been other 3D-printed guns from plastic with after-market metal parts added, but looks like this one is all metal with no parts added other than the spring...

Interesting.

What's most interesting is what they're really trying to prove: that their sintering process is capable of making quality machined items.

Maybe in another decade we'll be printing our own engines for cars?

^Agreed.  The article kind of implies this, but I wonder if their process is capable of even duplicating the rifling in the barrel or if that's something done after printing...

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.
