I think the Christian Bale move is where modern day earth is ruled by dragons and a small, rag-tag band of humans is the mankinds last hope for survival...it was called "Reign of Dragons" or "Fireworld" Or "Trogdor-polis" or something of that ilk.
Now, the problem is, how to divide five Afghans from three mules and have two Englishmen left over.

"Reign of Fire" is the movie you're thinking of, also with Matthew McConaughey. IIRC they might have tried to make a video
game out of it as well.
