Do the clan packs or special units DLC add any real depth to the game?  I haven't played the game in months so I'm a little behind the times.  I know that the blood pack does nothing for me.

The Ikko Ikki clan pack is different from any other clan in the game and one of the most difficult. The blood pack I also thought was cheesy and did not buy.

Agree with the Ikko clan being mega-tough and no interest in the blood pack. The new units are interesting but I've not really encountered them that much in the game and some are clan-specific. They're are a number of mods that offer new units- land and sea and enhanced game play.
