Nope, Slimer's the ghost of John Belushi.  Look it up.

It's in Wikipedia, so it must be true!

Quote
Aykroyd originally wrote the role of Dr. Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters (1984) with Belushi in mind, but rewrote it for Bill Murray after Belushi's death. Aykroyd joked that the green ghost, later known as "Slimer", was "the ghost of John Belushi" and based on the similar party animal personality.

Yep. And I think it says something in there about John Candy being considered for it, as well as some others I can't think of right now.

Centurion40

I miss John Candy, and Phil Hartman.  Gone too soon.

In the longshot category, I heard that we almost Anne Hathaway to a Hawaiian riptide.  Nobody would have seen that one coming.

Anne Hathaway is too hot to die.

Nobody had Philip Seymour Hoffman.  Hard to see that one coming.  Shocking & sad.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.
