Games you're looking forward to this year

Like JD I'm out of the loop, so I'm going to try to devote my gaming time to games I acquired recently, but I guess that's a thought for a different thread.  Slightly more on-topic, I'm looking forward to IL2:Battle of Stalingrad - though I do already own it.

Fewer zombie-related games would be nice in my opinion. It's time for a new alive and kicking hype.

I don't really have a list, nor do I know what will be released/what is supposed to be released this year.

I'm hoping Matrix will have some exciting news as soon as they wake up from hibernation. 2013 was somewhat "meh" in terms of wargame releases for me, 2012 was better. Flashpoint Campaigns is good, but I didn't play that until the contest.

The upcoming John Tiller game/the new Panzer Battles series sounds interesting.

Not really sure about AoW III, it could be good but is it still made by the same team after all these years?

I'm hoping the new Thief won't be awful, but I don't have high hopes. I expect a dumbed down console game, with a poor PC "port" of sorts.

Heck I hate and MMO  as much as the next guy..never even joined one....ever.  but I plan to on this one; I mean it's home world stuff

Possibly, but it depends on how it's marketed. If they market it as an experience similar to what you get with expanded split screen or home multiplayer, it could work. 6 vs 6 doesn't sound too bad if there's enough to do.

I told Santa Claus for X-Mas I wanted CA to re-do their excellent Barbarian Invasion add-on for the Rome 2 engine. I think I confused him because he had no idea what I was talking about or why I was sitting in his lap. I'd settle for a damn good BI mod for Rome 2. This time with Naked Women Warriors(Pervert). ::)

I would love that too...BI rocked. FYI there is. Rome II mod set in the 4th century AD named Tetrarchy but it looks more focused on Roman civil war.

Yeah I saw that one too, 4th Century is just about right. I miss the Huns. They weren't THAT bad though they all dressed like Klingons. The 1960's Klingons I mean, not the Hollywood ones. They just wanted a Home of their own-- with my head on the door.
