So is THIS VG's Civil War on the PC or is there something better or perhaps none like it?

AGEOD's Civil War 2 is more similar to VG's Civil War than Forge of Freedom.  There's more detail to it in nearly every way, however. 

While you still have a big focus on the specific generals leading the armies, there is also much more depth to the actual units under their command.. not just a counter with a number on it.  It definitely has more going on than that old tabletop game and the learning curve can be steep for some.

I hope that they add the turn replay feature back in. It's baffling that they thought it was reasonable to ditch the players ability to review what happened, rather than having to sit with eyes glued to the screen, hoping you don't blink and miss something.

I enjoy this game a lot, but I do wish they would revise/fix the players ability to locate unassigned generals.  They partially addressed this in a prior patch but it doesn't work all that well and it remains difficult to locate specific generals and those who haven't been assigned to units.  Or is there and I am just not seeing it?
