My only quibble is the outdated resolution. Hopefully the game will be updated at some point, maybe using the engine used for Commander The Great War.

I believe this game has reached the end of it's development cycle. There is a community mod "Grand strategy 3.0" http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=48721

You can do a little to the resolution by adding a switch to the game executable.

Looks fine on my widescreen monitor at default resolution as long as I run it in a window. Well worth the $10, especially with the Grand Strategy 3.0 mod.

Huh? Where is that option? All l see is an option for full-screen or not. Full-screen is just a window mode where the game is still at 1024x768.

That said the game looks fine either way.  :)

It was an option when I installed the game - the last on the list if I recall.

PBEM works by sending your save game to your opponent after you complete your turn. Obviously this system is open to abuse so there needs to be an element of trust involved.
