I will try not embarrass you in front of you new friends Dorosh.  It is a fact you have been either banned or driven away from most CM arenas and now are trying to recruit anyone from those sites  to listen to your barely suppressed rage at being yourself.  Congrats on the declining Lulu sales.  Can you get more marginalized in your life?  Thanks for the invite and expected propaganda.  Do you think anyone wants to be near you?  Is there anything but a barely suppressed rage at being a shorted person in a big world?

As far as his banning, and running away when he can't cry to the moderators,...does he just run away because he can't fight?  No, he runs away because he can't cheat or lie or bend the truth, or blow smoke out of his ass, or ingratiate himself or gain favor, etc.  Quite a shining example of Canadian Military manhood.

wow...  opening up with a broadside, eh?  Most folks make their way in a new forum with a low-key introduction, a few calm comments, get the temperature of the site they're visiting, and then jump in and start making joining some wider discussions and making some harsher comments.

I was informed at another website that this was a CM thread discussing Red Thunder.  It seems a bit off track, and I see Dorosh has slipped back into his snippy ways, but that is besides the point.  Good luck with your next 20,000 posts Mr. Dorosh.

We wander off-track around here, and sometimes people bring us back on track.  Attempting to blame one person for the derailing shows that you're targeting one person with an agenda you're bringing in from elsewhere.  We've *ALL* derailed threads here to a wider variety of degrees than are normally tolerated on most sites and even made fun of that fact.  We also eventually bring things back to where they belong.  That's how we roll around here.

The AAR between BilH and Elvis is wildly entertaining IMO.  Why some feel that it must be held up to some sort of standard is ludicrous.  It is like some wargamers must be unhappy little snots. 

We have a wide, wide variety of tastes in how articles work around here.  We've had text-heavy AARs (like the Flames of War, or Flashpoint Campaigns AARs) and we've had image-heavy AARs (like the Civ5 series).  We've had serious tones, and smart-ass archaistic ones.  We cover a wide variety of tone and attitude.  What someone does elsewhere is up to them.  We like what we're doing here, and if folks don't like it there are a lot of options to find content elsewhere on the web.  That's the beauty of digital distribution.

In any case, I don't really see the 'Grog' faction here.  Seems like another place for Dorosh to spread his brand of misery and reactionary viewpoint of the hobby.  And his paranoid obsession with other wargamers.

If you're not seeing a "Grog" faction here then you're working on a different definition of "Grog" than we are.  And that's OK.  Again, that's the beauty of the web - you can find what you really want if you look hard enough, and if you can't you can start your own (which is what we did).

But one thing this site was founded on was a fresh start for people involved.  With only 1-2 extreme exceptions, we don't ban/censure/beat up on people for things that happened on other sites at other times.  If someone shows up with a reputation, we are willing to give them a chance to start over.  And we're not overly thrilled when people bring their off-site drama over here with no previous experience with us, or how people are behaving around here.

Throttle back a bit on the stalker attitude.  Doesn't matter how you got here or why you jumped in, your first stab at a discussion was slagging about 4 different folks with no real attempt to just ease into the discussion.  No point wandering into the bar and immediately poking fingers into people's chests and then wondering why you're being ill-received.
