I have a issue running the game at 2560x1440 where text is blurry and some of the information is missing to a black box.  Apparently this has been reported and is being fixed.

So far just looking around there seems to be some lag on the map screen, however it maybe just me.  Still just looking around the menus and other options before I dive in.

I was also getting a little blurriness on the text at 1680x1050.  I had chalked it up to the post-processing effects, which sometimes does this.

I went through the forums and the dev answered that there are some res issues they are looking at.  It appears they are working hard to resolve issues as quickly as possible and is nice to see them on the fourm... well, they will get beat up on the Steam forum for sure.

You cant go wrong there mate Druss was excellent, Gemmel was so good at heroes.

One thing that speaks well for the A.I.is that independents are not just speed bumps.  Twice in the early turns of my first game I had to fight back invading armies from independents who had DOWed me.

"Legend of Huma"  by Richard Knaak and NY Times bestsellet set in the Dragonlance series.  Exceptional story about a common foot knight that becomes a revered legend and champion of the armies of good.

"Emperor of Ansalon" is also a Dragonlance novel about Ariakis and how he became the General for the armies of evil.

I meant to pre-order it the other day but work came up and detracted me from making the purchase.  Still very interested and I am usually not a fantasy guy.....so eagerly waiting more impressions to determine if a non-fantasy guy like myself would enjoy this game....seems to be getting generally favorable reviews and feedback.

Thanks for the above recommendations...off to Amazon. And yes the eye is getting better! Thankfully. It was quite gross.
