It does look great. Right now if there are just too many things missing that look like they do one thing during the game but really aren't. buildings so don't do anything...things like that. couple more patches on my fired it up. It's in great shape for an alpha though and I can easily see it becoming might go-to "fantasy" 4X

If they are following the same schedule as Endless Space, it should only be another couple of months.  Then again, ES was farther along when they started selling it (it was feature complete, iirc).

Sorry for this thread hijack...tgb if it's only a couple of months away that is good news. I can catch up on some other newish releases until then. Endless Legend does look and sound worth waiting for.
