Not much with the new patch added.
I generally wait until the uniform mod gets updated to the new patches before I install them in my game.
A Corporate Executive,a Democrat and a Republican walk into a room. The CEO walks in first and notices 10 cookies on a plate and pockets 9 of them, then turns to the Republican and whispers in his ear  and says "The Democrat is trying to steal your cookie".

I haven't fired it up since sometime last year and there are still regular patches.  It's probably best to start it up after an official one is released so that I have plenty of time before the next one to finish a campaign.

Thinking of getting this on Steam but, have a couple of questions.

1. Is the Steam version compatible with non-Steam DLC's?

2. Does anyone know if the other DLC/Expansions (only see Volokonovka 1942) are coming to Steam?

I'm pretty sure the non-steam DLC's are not compatible with the Steam version of the game.  I do not think it has been revealed whether Steam will be getting the other DLCs, but you'd think it would happen eventually.

I wonder what the chances are of getting Graviteam to issue Steam keys for all the games they have sold through Gamersgate?

Zero.  They have already opined on that.

I found it cheaper in strategy first sale (Steam Key) - http://www.strategyfirst.com/

I didn't know Strategy First was still in business!

No, it's cheaper on Steam, too bad all of the Graviteam versions/DLC's aren't on Steam!

- Operation Star - $7.49
- Volokonovka 1942 - $3.64

Its cheaper in Pounds as Steam uses a crap exchange rate.

I really hope that they go all in with Steam for their new game and improve the UI.

Loved the game, but never got full hang of UI. And I pay to play not chore with downloading updates.

Oh... and they really need to sort night battles so we can see something  ;D

Jarhead0331

I love the night battles. Confusing as all hell, but the tracers and fire is truly a thing of beauty. Watching vehicles and bodies burn in the aftermath is extremely immersive and thought provoking. No other game has this kind of atmosphere.  I posted a bunch of screenshots from a fierce night engagement in our screenshot thread a few months ago. Check 'em out!

I hear you.  :D Loved it when flares popped and fire fights broke out  8)  Not the patrolling around too much trying to advance to contact etc especially when force-space ratios were low.

Gamersgate has all the Graviteam Tactics stuff on sale for 75% off.  Just make sure you select the English language version and not Russian as they're selling both.

I had an issue with gamersgate years ago, zero support and have never done business with them again.

My experience has been much the opposite.. in two separate cases.  Unlike Steam Support which was useless as tits on a bull.
